Age 67, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at his residence with family by his side following a terminal illness. Born July 17, 1945 in Leonard, Michigan the son of Rollie and Melvina (Ingle) Caudill. Ray served in the Marine National Guard for 6 years and had retired from General Motors in Lansing with 33 years of service. Ray enjoyed animals loved hunting and playing pool. Preceding him in death were parents; brother, Joseph Caudill and friend, Ronnie Churchill.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Ramona; 3 children, Edith Marie (Paul) MacArthur of Eaton Rapids, Vincent D. Caudill of Eaton Rapids and Brenda Noel Caudill of Charlotte; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Arlie (Ethel) Caudill of Kentucky;3 sisters, Gladys (Mike) Shroder, Edith (Lonnie) Brady and Lorene (Dan) Willcutt; very close special friend, Monty Parish; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Rascal.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with Rev. James Riley, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
