Bethel N. (Huntington) Esch Obituary (1922 - 2011)

Age 88, of Eaton Rapids died Monday, April 18, 2011 at a Lansing hospital. Born December 23, 1922 in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of Leon and Ilah (Peck) McConnell. Bethel was a Life member of the Rebekah Sunshine Lodge in Eaton Rapids and was formerly a very active member of the Eaton Rapids Senior Center. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Darrell Huntington in 1963 and Herbert Esch in 1999; brother Leland and sister, Opal.. Surviving are 3 children, Richard (Virginia) Huntington of Hart, MI., Barry (Mary) Huntington of Grand Haven and Carol (Billy) White of Eaton Rapids; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 A.M. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. Mark Payne of the Robbins United Methodist Church, officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
