Cindy Lynn Wiltshire Obituary (1951 - 2007)

Cindy Lynn Wiltshire born August 29, 1951 to the late Vincent and Lorraine (Wilbur) Wiltshire, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007. Preceded in death by her son, Rick Carson Swaynie; and sisters, Sandra Brown and Jacqueline Auld. As well as other family and friends. Skinner, as her dad called her, attended school in Dewitt and Lansing, where she became Certified by the Red Cross as a Lifeguard. Cindy raised her four children in a Christian home, taught them to be honest, respectful, helpful, to work hard and not to judge others. She also cared for many other children over the years. Neighbor kids referred to her as Aunt Cindy. If she reached for your hand she touched your heart. Cindy was a respected supervisor at the Comfort Inn and a bus driver for the Lansing School District. She loved helping others, enjoyed sewing, baking, dancing, gardening, camping, demolition derbies and the sand dunes. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Marcie Swaynie, sons, Mark (Traci) Swaynie and Carl (Angel) Swaynie; grandchildren, Brittany, Eddie, Autumn, Stephanie, Angel, Rick, Chelsie, Dorian and Stormi Swaynie; brothers, Vincent (Judy) Wiltshire, Jr., and Sheral (Joyce) Wiltshire; sisters, Debra (Mike) Baker, Becky (Tom) Irvin and Tammy Velez; many nieces, nephews and friends, whom she loved very much. Cindy being a very strong person, remained strong as she was surrounded by family and friends throughout her struggle with Lung Cancer. Our sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Eaton Community Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
