Claude' Nicolas Obituary (1933 - 2016)

Claude Nicolas Of Lansing, MI passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2016 at the age of 82. Claude was born on November 8, 1933 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She moved to New York, NY in 1964 and later to Detroit, MI and finally settled in Lansing, MI. Claude worked for Ingham Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1987. She attended St. Casmir Catholic Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Claude loved to cook, and she enjoyed watching religious programs, soap operas, and soccer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adrien Nicolas in 2006. Claude is survived by her children, Carol Phillip, Adrien Nicolas Jr., Michaelle (Mark) Major, Stephen Nicolas, Jacqueline (Tyrone) Barksdale, Ed Nicolas; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brother, Jean Delerme; and several other extended family and friends.
