Dennis Henry Cocozzoli
Of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 71. Dennis was born on February 4, 1947 in Detroit, MI the son of Berto and Yolanda (Ronchetto) Cocozzoli. He was a graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School class of 1965 and went on to honorably serve in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. Dennis went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University in 1971. He worked for GB Dupont for 24 years where he was the Executive Vice President, he also worked for Terry Machine in Waterford and most recently worked as the manager for the Lansing Census Bureau. He loved to play and collect guitars and enjoyed canoeing trips down the Ausable river.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine (Moore) Cocozzoli; son, Christopher Cocozzoli; daughter, Jeanne (Chris) Patterson; grandchildren, Cooper, Jones, Oliver, Henry and Simon Patterson; brothers, Gary Cocozzoli and Thomas (Carol Ann Miller) Cocozzoli and numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Dennis at a later date. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Dennis. To share memories or condolences please visit
