Ethelda May Cataline Obituary (1932 - 2013)

Ethelda M. Cataline Eaton Rapids, MI. Age 81, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Born on March 24, 1932 in Lansing, the daughter of William and Anna (Harmon) Elston. Ethelda was a retired school bus driver for the Eaton Rapids Public Schools for 23 years. She was a life member of the O.E.S. # 241 in Eaton Rapids. She enjoyed traveling, camping, her lake home and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wilbur and Admiral "Jim" Elston and sister, Lena Getter. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, James of Eaton Rapids; 3 children, Bill (Lynn Howard) Cataline of Frankenmuth, Deb (Don) Blackwell of Battle Creek and Jim (Yvonne) Cataline of Eaton Rapids; 9 grandchildren, Rob (Juliana) Blackwell of Arlington, VA., Sara (Cam) Williams of Battle Creek, Shelly (Isaiah) Clise of Eaton Rapids, Jenny (Jimmy) Lawson of Eaton Rapids, Kimberlee (Greg) Stinson of Clio, Brandon Cataline, Cody Cataline, Cayla Cataline and Kate Cataline all of Frankenmuth; 6 great grandchildren, Katelyn, Jenna, Lauren, Brook, Hayden and James; 2 brothers, Clayton Elston and Frank Elston both of Eaton Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids on Saturday, April 13th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
