Geraldine Oliver Of Sunfield, MI, formerly of Lansing Passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 89. Geraldine was born on June 26, 1926 to John and Ruth (Bailey) Tarpley in Fannin County, GA. She worked in her home caring for her family, her greatest joy. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Oliver; brother, Hudson Tarpley; and grandsons, Darryl Oliver and Rick Oliver. Surviving are her daughter, Julia Oliver of Holt; sons, Gerald (Diane) Oliver of Holland; Daniel (Sandra) Oliver of Grand Rapids; Paul (Debi) Oliver of TN;8 grandchildren, Timothy Oliver, Steven Oliver, Courtney Fellers, Kelly Johnson, Melissa Wiley, Tammy Oliver, Denise Dewey and Daniel Plumer; 13 great grandchildren, Haley Oliver, Natalie Oliver, Caroline Oliver, Benjamin Fellers, Samuel Fellers, Drew Fellers, Evan Johnson, Grayson Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Madelyn Miles, Laura Wylie, Andrew Dewey and Roslyn Dewey; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Virginia Kreis; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel with visitation one hour prior. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
