Passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the age of 85. Jeanne was born on November 22, 1927 to Howard and Almada Putnam in Nashua, New Hampshire. Jeanne graduated from Nashua High School and soon after met Richard Powers; they were later married and moved to Lansing, MI. She worked and retired from Bell Telephone, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Jeanne loved to square dance, was considered an excellent seamstress, and a volunteer at Christ United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death are her husband; parents; brothers, Guy, & Howard Putnam Jr.; companion, Lee Underhill.
Surviving are her son, Doug (Debbie) Powers of Dimondale; grandchildren, Devon Powers, Jessie Hawkins; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Terry (Daniel) Wsiaki of Niles, MI; brother, David (Charlene) Putnam of Arundle, ME; Jill Underhill, and many family and friends.
