Jeffrey Spade

Jeffrey Lynn-Ellis Spade, 30, of Lansing passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 12th, 2023 as a result of a kayaking accident. He was born October 24, 1992 to James Moore and Dora Spade in Lansing, Michigan. Jeff attended Lansing Eastern High School. Jeff was active, loved going to the gym, traveling, being with his friends and he loved his video games. Jeff was the guy that you could go to for anything; he would give you the shirt off his back, help you out in any type of situation, face your fears and would always know how to put a smile on your face. Most of all, Jeff loved his family, especially the time he spent with his nieces and nephews.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his parents, Jim Moore and Dora Spade; brother, Allen (Kelly) Spade; sister, Jamie Spade; nieces and nephews, Kali Spade, Adalynn Spade, Presley Spade, Brady Spade, Carter Lynn-Ellis Spade, grandparents; David Spade and Judy Babcock, in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Sunday, Sepetember 10, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI. Subs, sides, and water will be served. If anyone would like to bring a dish to pass, they may, but not required. A slideshow will be played at 5:30PM but we will keep it on a continious loop for those that come later.
