Kathleen Joyce Charlefour Obituary (1924 - 2008)

Age 84 of Eaton Rapids died on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Born March 17, 1924, the daughter of Howard and Meda Belle (Henry) Towns. Mrs Charlefour worked as a Teacher's Aide for the Eaton Rapids Public Schools, and was a member of the Griffith United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was a great grandson, Drew Burnside and brother, Robert Towns. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Richard Charlefour; 4 children, Richard Lee (Peg) Charlefour of Rockford, Sue Bliss of Olivet, Jack (Kathy) Charlefour of Dearborn and Maureen Hanes of Eaton Rapids; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mildred Jackson and Dorothy Clarke both of Eaton Rapids; several nieces and nephews.??? Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6th at 2:00 P.M. from the Griffith United Methodist Church at 9537 S. Clinton Trail with Pastor Michael Baker-Streevy, officiating. Burial will follow in the Griffith Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
