Loraine JoAnne Darmer

Mrs. Loraine J. Darmer now in the presence of the Lord. She passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Her family is comforted knowing she planned celebrating this Christmas in Heaven. She was born February 24, 1931 in Detroit, MI, daughter to David and Edna LaForest. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Dave and sister-in-law Bernice, son-in-law Rick Loszewski. She is survived by her children, Dan and Julee, adoptive daughter Shannon Cook, her sister, Joyce (Dewey) Seehase, granddaughters, Kelly and Emily, many nieces and nephews, and a special relationship with Cindy and Larry Merindorf. She enjoyed camping, bowling, cooking and spending time with her family and granddaughters Kelly and Emily. Loraine also kept a close loving relationship with her Daughter In law Kathy Darmer and that continued right up to the end. Loraine was retired from Sparrow Health System and Hudson's department store. She enjoyed her retirement years as a resident at Jefferson Street Square, Mason, MI.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 2415 N. Aurelius Rd, Holt, MI.
