M. Georgine Sherman Obituary (1933 - 2014)

M. Georgine Sherman Haslett Passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at age 81. Born October 22, 1933 to Rene and Anna (Colby) Naert in Okemos, Michigan. Georgine was a graduate of Haslett High School. She enjoyed baking, playing bingo and traveling to different casinos. Most of all she loved her family and the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Rene, Steve, Val; great granddaughter, Anamaria Mendoza and her parents. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Bill Sherman; daughters, Valerie Sherman, Lisa Sherman; sons, William Sherman Jr., Kevin (Denise) Sherman; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel with Fr. John Byers as celebrant.
