Ruth A. "Alice" (Goode) Call Obituary (1930 - 2016)

Ruth A. "Alice" Goode Call Born December 17, 1930 in East Prairie, Missouri to parents Frank and Annie Goode, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016. She married Cecil Call December 5, 1949 and they moved to Michigan that same year. They had one daughter, Cecilia who still resides in Lansing. Ruth continued to live in Lansing from 1949 till her death. Ruth enjoyed gardening, flowers, her pets, cats and birds. She had a great appreciation of the beauty of nature and all of God's creation. She was the life companion of Mr. George Grabowski founder and former owner of Lansing Gardens Greenhouse for more than 30 years. Ruth was preceeded in death by her husband Cecil Call, George Grabowski, her parents, 3 brothers, LeRoy, Franklin, James and one sister, Dorothy Hope. She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia; brothers, Don (Marie) Goode of Ypsilanti, MI, Edward (Maradith) Goode of Westminister, CO; 2 sisters, Elsie Louise Hayes of Oscoda, MI, Mary Monteen (Robert) Ellis of Neelyville, MO; also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
