Cheryl Rennee Lewis Obituary (1948 - 2016)

Cheryl Rennee Lewis Of Charlotte, MI passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the age of 67. Cheryl was born on May 26, 1948 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joe and Doris (Pearl) Hier. She was a graduate of Fruitport High School class of 1966. She moved to Lansing where she raised her family and worked as a custodian for the Lansing School District until her retirement in 1998. Cheryl was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Eagles Lodge all in Charlotte. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, and crocheting, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her granddaughter. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, John Lewis; sons, Kevin (Annemarie) Baumgart, Scott Baumgart; grandchildren, Laraia, Matthew, Nicholas; sister, Claudia Bray; brothers, LJ (Linda) Hier, Matt (Cindy) Hier, Bruce (Beverly) Hier, Greg (Karen) Hier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
