David Eugene Meoak
Age 57 of Eaton Rapids died Friday, November 14, 2008 at a Lansing hospital. Born March 22, 1951 in Lansing the son of Eugene and Anne (Donaldson) Meoak. David was a retired Corrections Officer for the State of Michigan stationed in Jackson. A member of the Onondaga Sportsman's Club and a former member of the American Legion Post in Jackson. Dave was an avid hunter and out-doors-man. Preceding him in death was his parents, Eugene and Anne.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Kathy (Knickerbocker) Meoak; 3 sons, Tyler, Mitchell and Todd Meoak; 3 brothers, John (Betty) Meoak, Tom Meoak and Jim (Linda) Meoak; sister, Barb (Doug) Carl; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honoring David's wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place. The family is being served through the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
