Delight Olive "Dee" Zimmerman Obituary (1917 - 2016)

Delight O. (Dee) Zimmerman age 98 passed away peacefully at her home February 2, 2016. Born the 4th child of 8 to Everett and Ethel Grant in Onaway, Michigan. Delight retired in 1985 as a caregiver for elderly women. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Shirley (William) McClung; grandchildren, Paul (Diana) Denton, Kristine (Clark) West and Nancy Denton; all from Oregon and Washington State; daughter, Carol Quimby; grandchildren, Terry (Misty) and Brian from Lansing; Mom's 4 legged baby "Rusty"; son, Lynn (Liddie); grandchildren, Lisa (Brandon) Smith, Tina Mass and Becky Grice; all from Michigan and Indiana; 19 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; sister, June Zischke and family from DeWitt, Michigan as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the spring for her family in Michigan and in August for her Oregon and Washington State families.
