Dorotha D. Miller Obituary (1924 - 2013)

Dorotha D. Miller Eaton Rapids Age 89 of Eaton Rapids died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at a Lansing hospital. Mrs. Miller was born on April 13, 1924 the daughter of Roy and Mable (Snyder) Williams. She was born and raised in Eaton Rapids and later graduated from the Eaton Rapids High School. She had worked for her parents who owned and operated Williams Dairy in Eaton Rapids. After her marriage to Robert Miller they together managed a farm in Eaton Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; and brother, Max Williams. Surviving are her son, Michael (Veronica) Miller of Edmonton Alberta, Canada; 3 grandchildren, Carina (Chris) Miller-Stephen, Erin (Daniel) Schwanke and Alexandra Schwanke; 3 great grandchildren, Connor, Colton and Cora; twin sister, Dora Chapman of Eaton Rapids and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. Gary Bird of the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
