Edburt Ellsworth Moore Obituary (1940 - 2006)

Edburt E. "Eddie" Moore Age 65 of Mason died Thursday, March 2, 2006 at his residence following a long illness. Born July 28, 1940 in Eaton Rapids the son of Roy and Velma (Miller) Moore. Eddie as an Eaton Rapids High School graduate and served in the Army during the Viet Nam War. He retired in 1996 with 33 years of service for General Motors and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #652. A member of several horse clubs and associations including, M.S.P.B. & O., P. t. H.A. and A.M.H.A. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Barbara; 2 children, Kaylee (Roger) Altman of Mason and David (Becky) Moore of Leslie; 3 grandchildren, AnnJel Moore, Kacie and Kellie Christopher; 2 sisters, Kay Baker of Charlotte and Yvonne (Stan) Palmer of Eaton Rapids; several nieces & nephews. Memorial services will be Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Home Hospice at P.O.
