Louise Dickie Obituary (1929 - 2014)

Louise Dickie Lansing, MI formerly of John Creek, GA Passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at age 84. Born December 29, 1929 to Frank and Ella May Dickie in Bells, Tennessee. Louise was a longstanding member of Waverly Church of the Nazarene. She was also a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Lansing. Her life was devoted to her children and grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her husband, Carlie Junior Dickie Jr.; daughter, Wanda K. Allen; brother, James "Sunny" Britt; sisters, Janie and Mary Ann as well as her parents. Surviving are her daughters, May Knipfer, Rebecca (Phillip) Jones; sons, Carlie (Karen) Dickie, James Robert Dickie; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Patty; brothers, Paul and David Britt as well as many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Deepdale Memorial Park 4108 Old Lansing Rd. Lansing, MI 48917.
