Evelyn June Van De Moortel Obituary (1926 - 2016)

Evelyn June Van De Moortel Of Charlotte, MI passed away on Friday, August 26, 2015 at the age of 89. Evelyn was born on November 24, 1926 in Jonesboro, IL the daughter of Ralph and Myrtle (Patrick) Mclane. She moved with her family to Charlotte in the late 1940's where they purchased a farm. Evelyn went to work for Owens-Illinois for ten years before they purchased M-50 party store in 1967 located between Charlotte and Eaton Rapids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor; daughter, Marsha; parents and five siblings. Surviving are her children, Barry (Debbie) Van De Moortel, Daniel (Estere) Van De Moortel, Phillip (Mary Beth) Van De Moortel, Sheila Van De Moortel; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; sisters, Judy Converse and Thelma (Jim) Mayhew.
