Fern G. Kaider Obituary (1918 - 2007)

Fern G. Kaider Age 89, of Alma and formerly of Lansing died Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Masonic Pathways in Alma. Born May 17, 1918 in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Flossie (Wilcox) Fink. Fern was a Life member and Past Matron of the O.E.S. Parma/Springport Lodge # 270. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George "Bud" Gee and Donald Kaider; 2 sons, George and Roger Franke and sister, Hazel Kissee. Surviving are daughters, Maxine Wright of Seminole, Fl. and Mary Jo Houck of Lansing;?7 grandchildren, Terri (Larry) Markwart of Battle Creek, Debra Greene of St. Johns, Julie (Charlie) Hicks of Holt, Stacey?Franke Ocala, FL., Roger (Sue) Franke of Eaton Rapids, Tracy Miller of Clearwater, Fl.and Rick Franke of Riverside, CA.; and 8 great grandchildren;?sister, Marion Carpenter of Lansing and several nieces and nephews. ??? Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Parma/ Springport Lodge #270 conducting services. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service time on Tuesday.
