Gerald "Jerry" L. Tooker Obituary (1942 - 2009)

Gerald "Jerry" L. Tooker Eaton Rapids Age 66 died Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Eaton Community Hospice in Charlotte. Born September 24, 1942 in Eaton Rapids the son of Earl Lavern and Helen (Whipp) Tooker. Jerry was an Eaton Rapids High School graduate and served in the Army during the Viet Nam War. He was a Systems Analyst for Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Co. in Lansing, and was a member of the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed fishing, and loved the game of golf. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Sharon; daughter, Alicia Taylor of Lansing; son, Brian (Joanne) Tooker of Aurora, CO.; son-in-law, Kevin Taylor of Holt; grandson, Taylor Ball of Eaton Rapids; brother, Dale (Judy) Tooker of Montrose, CO.; sister, Carol Ottney of Eaton Rapids and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church with Rev. Frank Klassen, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Eaton Rapids.
