Harold E. Holbrook Sr. Lansing, MI Passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the age of 70. Born on August 14, 1943 to Delmont Holbrook and Maxine (Hatt) Holbrook in Lansing, MI. Harold worked for Motor Wheel in Lansing for 27 years before retiring in 1991. He was a union steward for 16 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, step daughter, Phyllis Miller; brother, Russell Holbrook; and brother-in-law, Everett Speer. Surviving are his wife, June (Bryson) Holbrook; sons, Russ (Staci) Holbrook, Harold Holbrook Jr.; daughters, Wendy Holbrook, Wanda Holbrook; several grandchildren; brothers, Don (Ramona) Holbrook, Brad (Mary Jane) Holbrook, George (Carol) Holbrook; sister-in-laws, Susan Speer, Billie (Tom) Cooley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 11:00 am at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends at the cemetery chapel at 10:30 am.
