Harriette Ilene Shaw Obituary (1921 - 2010)

Stepped into the arms of Jesus on Thursday evening, December 9, 2010. Harriette was born July 10, 1921 to Elmer and Bessie Gumpp. She was preceded in death by first husband, Lawrence Sabin; second huaband, Richard Shaw; infant daughter, Linda Sabin and son, Ronald Sabin. Surviving are daughters, Karen (Fred) Duffrin of Eaton Rapids, Cindy (James) Griffin of New Hampshire; sons, Gary (Chris) Sabin of Nashville, James (Deanna) Shaw of Perry and Berney (Margaret) Shaw of Charlotte, Pastor Robert (Dawn) Shaw of Hessel; 20 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren ; 9 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. Scott Boles, officiating. Burial was in Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Okemos. For those desiring memorial gifts may be made to the In House Hospice at 3400 Telegraph Rd.
