Jessi Christyne Nunn Obituary (1992 - 2014)

Jessi Christyne Nunn Passed away tragically on Friday, September 19, 2014 due to injuries from an automobile accident, she was 22 years old. Jessi was born on April 16, 1992 in Weslaco, TX the daughter of Bryan Nunn and Chris Garcia. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Nunn. Surviving are her parents; brothers, Jacob Nunn, Jeremy Nunn; grandparents, Maurice & Sharon Garcia, Betty & Richard Jenkinson; aunts and uncles, Connie & Dan Hackert, Catherine & Johnny Lay, Connie Miller, Doug & Amy Nunn; great aunt and uncle, Bonnie & Leon Nunn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jessi was a graduate of Weslaco High School class of 2010 and attended South Texas College with ambitions to be a marine biologist. She was a member of her high school band, track team, athletic trainer, and the captain of her swim team. Jessi was involved with her local 4H Club since the age of 9, and had a love for nature and animals. Jessi was very loving, outgoing, and enjoyed helping others. Her final act of kindness was to donate her organs; she has helped save 7 lives. Jessi was taken too soon but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who love her, and those she has saved. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids Chapel. The family will gather with friends for visitation starting at 10:00 am and a luncheon will be held following the service, location will be announced at the service.
