Joyce Jean DeForest

Passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the age of 83. Joyce was born July 21, 1928 to J.C. and Josephine Johnson in Lansing, MI. Joyce married her Husband Robert Deforest in 1947 and raised their family in Fowlerville, MI. Joyce was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She taught Sunday school at the Fowlerville Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening in her spare time. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Jerry Johnson.
Surviving Joyce are her children Jim Deforest, Jane (Daniel) Fleser, Joel (Linda) Deforest; grandchildren, Jessica Fleser, Jade Deforest, Paige Deforest, Brad Deforest, Brandon Deforest; brother, Jim Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
