Juanita "Jane" Cisneros Obituary (1932 - 2022)

Juanita "Jane" Cisneros of Mason of Mason, Michigan passed away on May 4th, 2022 at the age of 89. Jane passed away with her loving family by her side. She was born December 27th, 1932 in Georgetown, Texas to Isidro (Alicia) Garcia. Jane was a loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at the original Casa Nova for over 15 years. She was a member of The Women of the Moose (Lodge 3000) where she enjoyed many trips with her loving husband, Seferino, of fifty-five years. Jane was also an avid Bingo player and enjoyed crocheting. Her family fondly remembers her always making sure she had her candy dishes full for her great-grandchildren. Her loving granddaughters enjoyed spending time with her in the kitchen learning how to make tortillas and tamales. Grandma loved passing down her family recipes and traditions. Jane is proceeded in death by her husband, Seferino Cisneros, her son Juan (John) Cisneros, and daughter Teresa Beltran. She is survived by her children, Rosita Chelf, Inez (Denis) Crosby, S. Daniel Cisneros, her grandchildren Angelique Chelf, Linnea (Paul) Eifert, Alex (Michelle) Beltran, Amanda Schroeder, Alissa Crosby, Meghan (John) Bachelder, Antonia (Eric) Orlowski, Adriann (Alex) Pittsley, Grace (John) Chamberlain and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
