Left this world Monday, December 17, 2012 at age 93. Born June 16, 1919 to Benjamin and Francis Haas in Ithaca, Michigan. June graduated from North Star High School at the age of 15. She went on to receive her Cosmetology Diploma and moved to Lansing. By the age of 19 she purchased her own beauty salon. In 1940 June married Norman Fink and together they started a dairy farm in Eaton Rapids. June was a beautician instructor in the Lansing area. She was a loving and supportive mother that always made time away from the farm to take her boys to their summer cottage at Douglas Lake. When she wasn't knitting she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She had a gift for storytelling and a love of poetry. She always had time to read to her grandchildren. June will be missed by all who loved her. Preceding her in death were her husband, Norm; 5 sisters and many good friends.
Surviving are her sons Jay (Beverly) Fink and Dan (Sarah) Fink; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
