Justin Alward Converse Jr. Obituary (1939 - 2009)

Of Alamo Gordo, NM, formerly of Eaton Rapids, has gone to be with the Lord on Sept. 1, 2009. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed the outdoors, doing projects and building things with his hands for his home and he always enjoyed hunting. He was a Marine, truck driver, construction worker and a corrections officer until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin and Margie Converse, and brother, David. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Jan; Children , Tina (Jim) Brayton, Justin III (Brenda) Converse and Jackie (Larry) Starkweather; step-children, Kenny and Robert Ecker; and brother Don (Carol) Converse; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday September 9 at 12:00 PM, with visitation at 11:00 AM.
