Katrina Kay Mayhew Obituary (1957 - 2023)

Katrina Kay Mayhew Of Lansing, MI passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the age of 65. Born on November 16, 1957, in Lansing, MI the daughter of Charles (Judy) Bice and Opal (Hatfield) (Bill) Dodgins.Katrina was raised in Lansing and West Virginia before moving back to Lansing where she settled and raised a family of her own. She loved arts and crafts and was the owner and operator of Trina's Treasures where she sold her crafts for several years. Katrina enjoyed watching a good movie and tending to her garden, but especially cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. Family was most important to her, and she adored the time she spent with them. Katrina is preceded in death by her parents, son, Tim Mayhew, and brothers, Chris Dodgins and Chuck Bice. She is survived by her children, Carrie (Dan) Sinclair, Jessica (David Keeler) Walter, Lisa Walter, Shannon Lord, David (John Salter) Mayhew; daughter-in-law, Britt Velasquez-Mayhew; grandchildren, Cyress (Cassaundra), Thaman (Sara), Alexis, Desiree (Jimmy), Donovan, Dyllan, Destiny, Dominic, Alyssa (Melvin), Izaiah (Taleia), Jayden, Sariah, Raeona, Alexzandria, Jamir, Conner, Haley; nine great grandchildren, sisters, Lee, Lisa, Rose, Cyndi (Trace) Bice) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 3:00 PM with visitation starting at 2:00 PM.
