Lula Belle Parish Obituary (1925 - 2022)

Lula Belle Parish Harrison, MI formerly of Lansing Passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 97. Born January 7, 1925 to Ralph and Ila (Holden) Cooley in Lansing Township, Michigan. Lula Belle worked for the State of Michigan where she retired in the Department of Crippled Children. She enjoyed quilting, painting, doing puzzles and genealogy. Lula liked to travel and especially enjoyed traveling to Florida. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. Preceding her in death was her husband, Harry Parish; daughters, Carol Fogarty, Thelma Beadle; sons, Jerol Parish, Allen Parish; siblings, Erwin, Ruth, Nola and Zola as well as her parents. Surviving are her sons, Ron Parish, Harry Parish; grandchildren, Jason Parish, Harry (Rachel) Allen Parish, Ron Parish II, Gary Lee Beadle, Albert (Teri) Beadle, David Beadle, Debbie (Carl) Davis, Angie Greathouse, Janette Greathouse, Lisa Greathouse, Heather (Chad) McCarrick; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing Chapel.
