Maxine Doris Courtright Obituary (1919 - 2011)

Age 92 died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Dimondale Nursing Center where she was residing for several years. Born May 27, 1919 in Jackson County, the daughter of Oliver and Millie (Ebbert) Reeve. Maxine was a Life member and former Worthy Matron of the Springport O.E.S. Lodge # 26 and a former member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband of 65 years Carroll W. Courtright; daughter, Lorraine Courtright; granddaughter, Terri Stahl; sisters, Arlene Jankovic and Phyllis Draper; brother, Leland Reeve. Surviving are son, Kenneth (Judy) Courtright of Gwinn, MI. and daughter, Carol Lynn Hovey of Cadillac; 7 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial graveside services are being planned for the summer of 2012 at the Clarence Center Cemetery at Duck Lake. Arrangements were entrusted to the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
