Age 91, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility in Charlotte. Born July 16, 1922 in Eaton Rapids the daughter of Howard and Meda (Henry) Towns. Millie was a member of the Griffith United Methodist Church and a former Sunday School Teacher. She was a Life member of the Tri County Extension group. Preceeding her in death were her husband Fredrick; daughter, Donna Kolodica; brother, Robert Towns; sisters, Kathleen Charlefour and Dorothy Clarke.
Surviving are 3 children, Sharon (Harvey) Pettit of Eaton Rapids, Dianne (Jack) Morris of Eaton Rapids, Dennis (Sally) Jackson of Albion; son-in-law, Jim Kolodica of Albion; 8 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. David Minger, officiating. Burial will follow in the Griffith Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8pm.
