Robert Clair "Tubby" Pant Obituary (1953 - 2014)

Robert Clair Pant (Tubby) joined the Lord at the young age of 60 years old at Sparrow Hospital on July 10th, 2014. Robert was born on September 20th, 1953 to Harold Pant, and Ione (Myers) Pant. Robert joined his mother and father in heaven along with his brothers Ron, Vern and Sheldon and sister Tammy Jo (Pant) Preston. Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years Karon (Pathfinder) Pant; two sons, Robert and Brandon Pant; two brothers, Steven and Timothy Pant; grandchildren, Austin and Andrew Pant, Trenton Huff, Koressa Enterline, McKayla and Savanna Tackett, along with many nieces and nephews. Robert lived a full and happy life with love for his family, hunting and MSU sports. Not many things made him as happy as being in the woods with his two boys and watching MSU win! Robert's love for sports was very strong! He coached his two boys in everything they played and did in life along with many other kids in the community of Eaton Rapids from the early 90's right up to his grandson Austin playing basketball just a few years ago. Robert's biggest passion most of all is and was the love for his beautiful wife Karon. Married June 21st, 1980, they started a family and shared many countless memories together! Robert's huge heart touched so many around him, and his love will live on through his family and friends!
