Sara Diane Loomis Obituary (1933 - 2010)

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the age of 76. She was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan to Lewis and Thelma Brabon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, daughter-in-law Martha Loomis, her brother Currin Brabon, and brother-in-law, Don Mandeville. She raised four children, Diana Lynn (Larry) Hyatt, Robert (Cheryl) Loomis, William (Cathy) Loomis, Steven Loomis, loved and was loved by her12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and a devoted Elvis admirer. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
