Veda Jeanne Howard Obituary (1932 - 2012)

Howard, Veda Jeanne Leslie, Michigan Of Leslie, MI. has been reunited with her husband, Ken Howard and her Lord Jesus Christ. She left her earthly home on November 1, 2012 and went peacefully into Heaven at age 80. She was born on September 20, 1932 at Arthur and Helen Smith in Onondaga, MI. She graduated from LHS and then married Kenneth Paul Howard who was the love of her life and best friend for 57 years. They had five children. Her family, home, friends and church were her life. Many children called her mom and grandma. She loved flowers, birds, cats and dogs. She was one of the founding members of Childs Bible Church in Onondaga where she was active serving her Lord in Sunday School, children ministries and much more. She was truly a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She is survived by five sisters and two brothers; three daughters and two sons; Linda (Dann) Speichinger of Sioux City, IA., Deb (Dave) Fildey, Cary (Ann) Howard, Brian (Lanette) Howard, Jeanne (Tom) Barratt all of Leslie; twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with burial following in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Leslie. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8:00 PM.
