General Price List

To help you understand all of the costs associated with a funeral service and make an informed decision, we’ve broken them down in our general price list. If you need any assistance or have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our staff is happy to help you explore all the options available to you.

Prices are effective as of January 6, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.

Basic Goods and Services

 

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Our fee for the services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; and staff assistance prior to, during and following the funeral including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, i.e. cemetery, crematory and others. Also included in these charges are fixed business costs relative to our facility such as labor, insurance, utilities, taxes and other ongoing expenses necessary to be in a position to provide facilities and services. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for non-ceremonial cremation, immediate burial, forwarding remains and receiving remains.)

Embalming

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are heavy cardboard. Our charge for direct cremation (without ceremony) includes basic services of the funeral director and staff with proportionate share of overhead costs, transportation from local place of death, sheltering remains, transportation to a local crematory, standard crematory expense. You are not required to purchase a casket for a direct cremation, but you may do so if you wish. (This cost does not include the county medical examiner cremation authorization fee).
